Bar Council of Delhi: Advocates’ Verification Amid Elections

The Bar Council of Delhi has initiated a verification process for practicing advocates in Delhi who intend to participate in the upcoming elections for the respective bar associations, including the Delhi High Court Bar Association elections scheduled for the year 2024. Provided below are the verification links categorized according to advocates’ enrollment years:

Advocates enrolled on or before 31.12.1989 are required to fill up only the Declaration Form

Advocates (including Notary Public etc.) enrolled on and after 01.01.1990 till 31.10.2016 and whose names were existed on the last BCD Electoral Roll – are required to fill up only the Declaration Form

Advocates who had not filled up the Verification Form during the last BCD election process & and their names were not existed in the last BCD Electoral Roll are required to fill up Verification Form (Form-B) and upload documents as mentioned therein.
Advocates who were enrolled during 31.102016 till 31.12.2018 are required to fill up the Verification Form (Form-B) and upload documents as mentioned therein.

Advocates who were enrolled on and after 01.01.2019 till date and have passed AIBE (All India Bar Examination) are required to fill up Verification Form (Form-C) and upload documents as mentioned therein.

Senior Advocates and Advocates on Record of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India are required to fill-up Form-E only.
The Advocates who are Notary Public etc. and whose names were existed on the last BCD Electoral Roll are required to upload appropriate certificates/ experience certificates to the effect that they are in active practice in that particular field.
